The University of Ljubljana Centre for the Use of ICT in the Pedagogical Process, shorter known as the Digital UL Centre, acts as a supportive and developmental environment of the University of Ljubljana for the meaningful integration of information and communication technologies into the pedagogical process. Its tasks include, among others, pedagogical and technical support, training, research and development, and collaborating on the establishment of an integrated technological learning environment.
At the Multimedia Lab, we collaborate with the Digital UL Centre by providing expert consulting, development, and research in the field of multimedia equipment and solutions for the study process, as well as in the planning and engineering of multimedia systems within technologically supported learning environments—such as for simplified and automated AV lecture capture or laboratory exercises. Furthermore, LMMFE participates in providing multimedia support for major events organized by the Digital UL Centre. This includes advanced hybrid events, which require delivering an equivalent multimedia experience for both physical attendees on-site and remote participants joining via conferencing systems.
